Blogmas Day 8 and 9: Xmas Bedroom Inspiration and Keeping the Holiday Spirit

Hey all, I’m back with a 2 for 1 post. Yesterday was so exhausting, I decided to not to post. I learned of a very close friend’s death on top of other things throughout the day. I felt like I wouldn’t be able to genuinely post what I planned and I rather be genuine about whatever I post.

Today, I bring to you what I’ve been collecting for inspiration to decorate my room. Since I’ll be decorating my room really close to Christmas time, I want to incorporate decorations that can transition all the way to Valentine’s Day, with a few modifications.

I’m really leaning towards the pinks and white lights, but maybe a darker cozier room with textiles on the walls is the way to go. I’m split between the two!

Keeping holiday spirit.

It’s the perfect time to talk about this because I feel that lately I’ve been getting hit with a few storms lately. I’ve remained diligent, though and have remained in a sort of holiday spirit. Being in the holiday spirit involves more than just being upbeat for the holidays. It’s an opportunity to take in all the positivity around us and develop a real habit consisting of being a more giving and caring people. I made a list of some things I do and some I would like to try to keep the holiday spirit alive in me. Check it out below.

I’ll be doing a separate post with more details about what these 10 ways mean to me and what I do. But first, I’d like to hear how you feel about it. What ways would you use these?

Until next time,

SiddeeQah ❤
