January TBR | Bookish Objective

One of the new updates I’m making to my blog and site includes blogging about my bookish things. At the beginning of each month, I’ll be sharing my to-be-read list and at the end, a wrap up of the books I did read. Look forward to my post tomorrow about more improvements to Love, Siddbabii.

Of Triton by Anna Banks

This is the second installation of Banks’ Syrena series. If you read Of Poseidon, then you know why reading this one is a must; the ending left me needing to know more. And Galen does, too. He’s just wonderful.Β I’m halfway through this book already, and while it reminds me of a cliche teenage movie with a very interesting take on the mermaid world, I love the series overall. Does this book hold up to Of Poseidon….we’ll see.

The Eternal Ones and All You Desire by Kirsten Miller

I actually have no idea what these books are about. Of course from the description, I can guess that it has to do with visions, the past meeting the present, and a secret society. Seriously interested in the world these books will create for me and I hope I like it. Not to mention, I got each of these hardbacks for $1.99 each. =)

My TBR is short this month only because I haven’t planned any other books. Also, I’ve only planned Young Adult books, but I’ll be moving to and fro that genre. As much as I love the quick pace and romanticism of YA, I’m looking for books that relate to woman closer to my age and older.

What are you bookish plans for January?

Till next time,
